Sunekos Overview

Smooth, Repair, Correct
How it works
Sunekos is an extremely flexible restorative treatment, designed to correct a number of skin issues. It is a formulation made up of hyaluronic acid (a compound found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump) and amino acids (proteins) which help to stimulate collagen and elastin production naturally over time.
Benefits
Sunekos is very similar to Profhilo - both stimulate collagen and elastin production but Sunekos is more versatile in where it can be used, meaning it can target more delicate areas of the face like under the eyes and the forehead. Unlike Profhilo, the amino acids in Sunekos promote cell turnover to effectively target scarring, sun damage, dark circles, and loss of tone.
Sunekos can also be used as a softer approach to the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. Where Botox limits muscle movement, Sunekos maintains full movement and expression with results accommodating more subtly in comparison to Botox.

We Recommend
Sunekos treatments are delivered in two sessions, two weeks apart, to ensure best the results. Depending on the area being treated, some people will see results in a matter of days, whilst more stubborn areas (e.g. scarred skin) might take longer.
It is important to let your doctor know of any preexisting conditions and any medication you are currently taking, for example, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil supplements which can increase the likelihood of bruising. If you are taking any prescribed medication, do not stop taking it without consulting your GP.
Your skin should be cleansed and clean to ensure our Glow Doctors can make an accurate assessment of your skin’s condition prior to treatment.
If you are setting skin goals for a particular event, for example, a wedding, we would advise booking your treatment for at least a month in advance to give the products time to start working. Because our treatments are aimed at long-term skin health, the more time you allow for treatment cycles beforehand, the better.

With any injectable, there is potential for minor bruising, redness, and minimal swelling but otherwise, there is no down-time required following the treatment. If you have an event coming up, we would advise booking your treatment 2 weeks prior to ensure any potential bruising has healed.
For all injectable treatments, you should keep hydrated and avoid touching the area or applying makeup to the treated area until the next day. You should also avoid alcohol for 24hours after treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.
